1. Who we are
Made by Semente publishes Lazy. Contact: support@madebysemente.com.
2. Usage statistics
You don't need to register to play. The game sends us the following, without your name or email:
- A random identifier, created by the game itself the first time you open it. It isn't derived from your phone or your Google account.
- What happens in the game: when it's opened and how long the session lasts; which level is started, cleared, failed or abandoned, with the time, attempts and stars; which boosts are used; coins earned and spent; the minigames; whether the shop is opened, which product is chosen and whether the purchase goes through; and which screens and settings are used.
- Technical data: the game version, the phone model, the Android version, the screen size, the phone's memory and cores, the language and country set on it, how smoothly the game runs, how long it takes to load, and the text of any errors. We don't look at where you are.
We use this to find out whether people like the game, where they get stuck, whether the difficulty is right, which phones it struggles on and what needs improving. It's stored on our own server, sent encrypted and deleted after two years. We don't combine it with data from other sources or use it for advertising.
3. What's stored on your phone
Your progress, your coins and boosts, and your sound, vibration and language settings. They stay in the app's storage and only leave it through the copies described in the next two sections.
4. Android backup
If device backup is turned on, Android may save your game to your Google account so it can be restored when you reinstall or change phones. Google manages that copy and we have no access to it. You can turn it off in your device settings.
5. If you sign in with your Google account
This is optional: the game works the same without an account. If you sign in:
- Firebase Authentication, a Google service, handles the sign-in and keeps the account details Google gives it: your identifier, name, email and photo. It's governed by Google's privacy policy.
- On our server we store the account identifier given by Firebase, a copy of your game (progress, coins, boosts, notebook, minigames and purchase receipts) and the date. We don't store your name, email or photo: the game only uses them on your phone, to show you which account you're signed in with.
- Usage statistics are linked using a one-way digest of that identifier, so that someone playing on two phones counts as one person.
You can sign out or delete your account at any time: see section 9.
6. In-game purchases
Purchases are made through Google Play, which charges you and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never receive your card or billing details. Usage statistics record which product is bought, and the game uses the purchase receipt to deliver what you've paid for.
7. Advertising and third parties
Lazy shows no ads, and we don't sell or share data with anyone for advertising. We collect usage statistics ourselves, on our own server. The only third parties are Google Play, for purchases, and Google through Firebase Authentication, only if you sign in.
8. Permissions
The game uses the internet to talk to Google Play, send usage statistics and save your game if you've signed in; vibration, if you leave it on; and notifications, if you allow them. It doesn't access your contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera.
9. How to delete your data
- Your account and your saved game: in the game, go to Settings → Save your game → Delete my account. If you no longer have the game, write from that account's email to support@madebysemente.com and we'll delete it within 30 days. This deletes your saved game, the identifier and its link to the statistics.
- What's on your phone: deleted when you uninstall the game, or in Settings → More options → Erase progress.
- The Android backup: managed from the backup settings of your device or your Google account.
- Usage statistics: deleted automatically after two years. Without an account we can't tell which ones are yours; if you reinstall the game, it starts with a new identifier.
10. Children
Lazy is not aimed at children under 13. Purchases are subject to any parental controls you've set up in Google Play.
11. If you write to us
If you contact support, we'll use your email and what you tell us only to reply. You can ask us to access, correct or delete those messages at the same address.
12. Changes
If a future version changes any of this, we'll update this policy before releasing it. The current version will always be at this address.
